Privacy policy

This policy explains what KitMori ("the site") collects, how it is used, and what control you have. None of the calculators or tools require an account.

What we collect

• Traffic statistics. Each page view records the URL, the time and the referring site, so we can see which tools people actually use. "Unique visitors" is a hash of IP address, browser and the current date -- it changes every day and is not an identifier that can follow one person over time. Search engines and known crawlers are excluded. These records are kept for 90 days.
• Tool settings and history. Spinner lists, numbers you typed into a calculator and so on are stored in your own browser's localStorage. They never reach our servers, and they disappear if you switch device or clear your browser data.
• The contact form. The name (optional), email address and message you send through the contact page are used only to reply to you, and for nothing else.

Cookies and advertising

The site runs Google AdSense to cover its costs. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to show personalised ads based on sites you have visited. On your first visit you will see a banner: choose "Accept" and you get personalised ads; choose "Decline" and you still see ads, but chosen from the page content rather than your browsing history. Clearing your browser cookies lets you choose again at any time.

You can manage or turn off personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings, or block third-party cookies in your browser settings.

What we never do with it

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not use it for anything not described on this page. Contact form messages are visible only to the site administrator.
